Yesterday, Thursday 04.11.2021, 167 people testeds positive for COVID-19. That´s the highest number ever in one day. Majority of those infected were not in quarantine. Currently there are 16 people in hospitals, five in intensive care.
The 14-day incidence rate per 100,000 inhabitants has soared to 370.1, according to covid.is. Since there has been a sharp rise in cases in recent days, it´s likely that stricter domestic measures will be imposed again. This is currently being discussed by the government.
