People of foreign origin offered to take part in a health study

People of foreign origin is now for the first time offered to take part in an important study, called Health and Wellbeing that is conducted by the Director of Health, every five years.


It´s important that those who have been invited to take part in the study, do so. That ensures that reliable information can be gathered about this important topic.


The main objective of the study is to assess the health, wellbeing and welfare of adults. The results of the study make it possible to monitor changes that may occur over time.


Participants in the study are those who agreed to continue participating after last time, and random sample of individuals from the national registry, aged 18 and older, who live in Iceland, Icelandic and foreign citizens.
