The edX website contains over 1,700 open online courses in more than 30 subjects. Open online courses are ideal for those who want to deepen their knowledge of a specific subject and promote study and career development. The University of Iceland is one of edX’s partners and offers several courses.
You can take a free online course from edX.org. If you want to receive a certificate for completing the course and access to assessment, course fee must be paid. By applying for an online course at the University of Iceland, you get a 10% discount on course fees. You can get acquainted with a wide range of courses on the edX website.
Continuing Education – Courses at the University of Iceland
The general public can attend courses at the University of Iceland Continuing Education. The registration fee for each course is 3,000 ISK. You can view the selection on the Continuing Education website (Icelandic only).
