Information about the right to vaccination has been updated and is now accessible in many languages

Did you know that, everyone living or working in Iceland, can register for COVID vaccinations, regardless if they have an Icelandic ID number or not? Information about the right to vaccination has been updated and is accessible on the internet in many languages.

Vaccinations have been going well in Iceland though it´s important to keep people informed about their right to getting vaccinated and where it´s possible to do so.

Here you can find useful information in 13 different languages, Icelandic, English, Polish, Lithuanian, Spanish, Russian, Serbian, Romanian, Latvian, Arabic, Kurdish, Farsi and Thai. The material is suitable for printing and it is a good idea to make it available in your workplace or public space, for students, clients, staff or just for friends and relatives.

At covid.is/vax you can find more detailed information about where to register for vaccinations, about vaccination certificates, what your right to health insurance is, where you can get an electronic ID, and more. This information is to be found in the same languages as the material mentioned earlier.

For those who don´t have an Icelandic ID number, they need to give information about their name, date of birth, sex, nationality, type, and the number of their IDs, a passport or valid documents from The Directorate of Immigration.
