Child-support applications are available at the offices of the Social Insurance Administration
- The Social Insurance Administration (SIA) can act as an intermediary for payments of minimum child support if requested. Applications are available at the offices of the Social Insurance Administration or any of its agencies.
- If payments do not go through the SIA, the parent must deal with collecting minimum and extra child support themselves.
- Child support is paid to the Local Authorities’ Child Support Collection Centre unless the parents have agreed for payments not to go through the Social Insurance Administration. Child-support payers can seek assistance from the Local Authorities’ Child Support Collection Centre if in default.
