The syllabus and teaching material was designed for MCC by Guðrún Pétursdóttir from Intercultural Iceland (www.ici.is).  The course itself is aimed at those who work both in the field of general services as well as those who work in close communication with their clients, such as social workers, police officer and hospital staff. Its goal is to increase the competence of employees in situations where cultural sensitivity is required and at the same time increase access to public service and information.
