The Multicultural and Information Centre provides counsel and assistance in eight languages, Icelandic, English, Polish, Serbian/Croatian, Thai, Spanish, Lithuanian and Russian. The Centre's staff counsels about immigration or emigration to/from Iceland and assists in dealing with public institutions or companies in Iceland.
The Multicultural and Information Centre does not offer translation or interpreter services, however it assists people when insufficient knowledge in the Icelandic language or lack of knowledge about the Icelandic society prevents resolution of affairs.
